Job summary

Tenet Healthcare’s Children’s Hospital of Michigan seeks a Business Operations Strategist to provide analytic support for clinical programs, develop and evaluate financial models, and drive strategic ambulatory planning. You will help assess reimbursement and patient care delivery impacts across initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
• 3–5 years of related operations, finance or process improvement experience.
• LEAN or Six Sigma certification strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides analytic support for current and conceptual clinical business programs and budgeting.
• Develops pro formas for clinical programs and assesses financial impact on patient services.
• Collaborates with ambulatory services, finance and managed care to optimize reimbursement and planning.
• Monitors budgets, internal controls and reporting to support decision-making.
