Job summary

Port Houston is seeking an Analysis & Planning Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning across 18 MPF locations. You will supervise Vessel Scheduling and Turning Basin Clerks, guide cost analyses, and drive data-driven decisions with Finance and Infrastructure teams.

Strong leadership and communication are essential to advance strategic master planning and capital projects. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in terminal logistics or equivalent

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Maritime Administration, Operations Management, Transportation, or related major.
  • 5+ years related terminal logistics or management experience.
  • Previous supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead annual and 5-year budget development, in-year reforecasting, and long-range financial planning for the Multi-Purpose Facilities.
  • Analyze budget-to-actual variances and report on revenue and expense trends.
  • Manage Vessel Scheduling and Turning Basin Transportation Clerks and coach staff.
  • Develop tools and methods for maintaining budget documents and sharing information with Finance.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of operational and financial reporting.
