Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Strategic Planner to join our team in the Indo-Pacific-focused mission space. You will apply Plans and Policy expertise across multiple staff sections, guiding J5 activities to address complex drug-related transnational crime concerns.

The role requires DoD Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, a bachelor’s degree, and 10+ years of experience in strategic planning using JPP/MDMP methods. Strong communication and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret with SCI eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree plus applicable experience.
• 10+ years of strategic planning experience with JPP/MDMP familiarity.
• Ability to work independently and handle dynamic priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research to develop recommendations for theater strategy, campaigns, and contingency planning.
• Plan, coordinate, and synchronize strategic operations and investments across PACOM AOR.
• Assist cross-functional teams with planning efforts and support U.S. law enforcement coordination.
• Capture lessons learned and improve operational outcomes.
• Develop planning workflows and dashboard capabilities, including AI-enabled tools.
• Prepare agendas/read-aheads and briefings for leadership and partners.
