Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Operations Planning SME to translate strategic guidance into detailed, executable plans and orders, advising senior leaders on complex operational challenges. The role requires independent work, leadership of planning groups, and integration of cross-functional concepts aligned with high-interest operational plans.

Qualifications

• Requires active TS/SCI security clearance and JPP expertise.
• 15 years of military operational planning experience; or Master’s with 10 years.
• Ability to translate strategic guidance into executable plans and orders.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary planning groups and advisory panels.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert planning support for Crisis Action, Future Operations, and Deliberate planning in support of J3/J5.
• Compose and disseminate OPORDs/FRAGORDs addressing policy and doctrinal issues.
• Lead COA development, wargaming, and COA comparison using established criteria.
• Apply advanced planning concepts (COG, LOE/LOO) to solve complex problems.
