Amentum, Ft. Belvoir, VA, seeks a Strategic Planner to support the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency J5 Division. The role develops plans and strategies, coordinates with DoD components, and delivers concise briefing products under tight timelines.

The ideal candidate holds a TS clearance with SCI eligibility, a bachelor’s degree, and 5 years of related experience, including DoD/Joint Staff exposure; MS Office proficiency and DoD planning familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of related experience.
• Experience briefing senior officers and writing strategy papers/memos.
• Familiarity with DoD Joint Force Development and service force structure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare briefing products and analysis comparing alternative solutions with strategic implications.
• Review and analyze policy issues and impacts.
• Coordinate with DoD echelons and contribute to DoD publications.
• Support DoD planning, programming, budgeting, and execution processes.
