Job summary
Serco is seeking a Strategic Planner to support Army Sustainment Command (ASC) with the GLASS team. The role involves developing plans, estimates, OPORDs, and sustainment concepts at high levels, with potential CONUS/OCONUS assignments and security clearance requirements.
You will collaborate with joint commands, prepare briefs, and maintain ASC planning files while traveling as needed to execute mission requirements.
Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI clearance and US citizenship required.
- Graduate/experience in joint or Army headquarters environments.
- Mature planning, staff estimates, and OPORD/WO planning capability.
- Ability to travel up to 10%.
Responsibilities
- Assist ASC visibility at TS/SCI level events.
- Prepare staff estimates, courses of action, OPORDs and WARNORDs for COCOMs and Army commands.
- Analyze ASC’s role and mission within the Army and support mid/long-range planning.
- Develop action plans, sustainment concepts, and Time Phased Force Deployment Data.
- Collaborate with AFSB and support briefings and studies.
