Job summary

Serco is seeking a Forward Planner to support ASC at Fort Knox, KY. This role emphasizes in-depth policy and logistics analysis, LOGCAP coordination, and requirement package development, with significant travel to CONUS/OCONUS sites.

You will contribute to operational readiness, maintain training files, and collaborate with planners on complex programs, ensuring compliance with Army regulations.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance is required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 10 years of Logistics experience in a Joint/U.S. Army context.
• Graduates of MEL4 and Support Operations Course (Phase 2) preferred.
• Understanding of JOPP essential.
• Army sustainment enterprise knowledge beneficial.
• Experience at one-star or higher command preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent in-depth research and analysis of policy, regulations, directives, or issues.
• Assist management with day-to-day operations and coordination for LOGCAP.
• Develop and maintain LOGCAP requirement packages and screen for completeness.
• Prepare briefs and memos per Army regulations and coordinate with LOGCAP Planner.
• Draft responses to inquiries and monitor ongoing operations and exercises.
• Prepare training materials and maintain files in SharePoint.
• Attend meetings and develop schedule-related materials and injects.
• Monitor evolving LOGCAP requirements and participate in trainings and exercises.
