Job summary

Henry Ford Health in Detroit is seeking an experienced Physician Recruitment Specialist to lead sourcing, screening, and presentation of qualified Providers across the HFH network. The role covers physicians, APPs, CRNAs, PAs, midwives, and related professionals, with a focus on diversity and strategic talent delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or related field and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in APP or other healthcare related recruiting. In lieu of a Bachelor's Degree, must possess an Associate's Degree and four (4) years of experience in APP or other healthcare related recruiting.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be self-motivated with strong attention to detail.
• Must possess knowledge of medical and surgical clinical specialty areas.
• High level of skills with computers and software.
• Experience with social media outlets.
• Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and networking skills especially with physicians, medical staff leadership and administrative leadership.

Responsibilities

• Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the HFH Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
• Participates in the full recruitment activities including candidate identification sourcing and interviewing, marketing, and advertising, reporting, and maintaining Provider searches.
• Utilizes Provider recruiting procurement methods to generate qualified candidates for current and future clinical opportunities.
• Initiates cold calling of potential Provider candidates. Performs searches including broadcast and specific emails to targeted potential candidates to recruit qualified Providers to be presented to medical, clinical, and administrative leadership for consideration.
• Works with various system, regional, and medical leaders to create, maintain, and update HFH Provider opportunities.
