Job summary

MyMichigan Health is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to support growth by handling logistics of the recruitment process and ensuring placement of provider candidates.

The role covers sourcing, screening, interviews, and onboarding of physicians and advanced practice providers, including locum tenens as needed. You will collaborate with department managers and recruiters to optimize talent pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; one year related experience preferred.
• 3-5 years' experience in customer services, healthcare, sales, marketing or recruitment background preferred.
• Ability to multi-task, plan and prioritize a large volume of detail-oriented work while maintaining quality customer service.
• Must have strong marketing, organizational and presentation skills.
• Extensive knowledge of technology including Microsoft Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates candidate and locum tenens process: reviewing and screening applicants, forwarding qualified candidates to leadership, coordinating interviews, updating pipeline in departmental systems.
• Facilitates job postings on social media, with recruitment firms, journals and direct mail advertising; assists with intake sessions to ensure sourcing accuracy.
• Creates applicant pipelines by networking with colleges, residency programs and professional organizations; assembles recruitment materials.
• Coordinates travel arrangements, itineraries, site visits, interviews and community tours for viable candidates and spouses.
• Maintains relationships with leadership to understand staffing needs and market careers and identify talent pools.
