Job summary

Day Kimball Health in Putnam, Connecticut seeks a Director of Development/Volunteer Services to lead the donor relations program, major and planned gifts, and fundraising strategy. Reporting to the President/CEO, you will build a comprehensive program and manage all aspects of the hospital’s fundraising efforts.

You will oversee major capital campaigns, ensure regulatory compliance, and supervise the philanthropy office, driving growth and community impact in a nonprofit healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree preferred.
• Minimum of five years nonprofit fundraising experience.
• Experience leading major capital campaigns and planned giving programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a comprehensive donor relations program for major and planned gifts.
• Lead hospitals major capital campaigns and planned giving programs.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations related to fundraising.
• Supervise the Philanthropy Office.
