Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BSPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
• Five years of experience as a pharmacist, plus three years of leadership experience over a pharmacy service.
• Equivalency: PGY1 residency equals two years; PGY2 equals two years; HSPAL residency equals four years.
• Licensure: Licensed pharmacist in the state of Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Leads pharmacy services across multiple sites, aligning goals with the organization's vision and mission.
• Serves as strategic advisor to executive leadership, resolving escalations and driving transformation.
• Leads enterprise-wide communication strategies for pharmacy and updates on priorities and initiatives.
• Oversees development, performance, and succession planning of pharmacy leaders and staff.
• Defines and governs departmental strategy, policies, and performance standards with regulatory compliance.
• Oversees formulary governance and controlled substances management, ensuring full compliance with regulations.
• Champions interdisciplinary collaboration to advance clinical pharmacy practice and optimize patient outcomes.
• Leads system-wide planning for pharmacy technologies and automation, managing change effectively.
• Drives 24/7 continuity of pharmacy operations with robust leadership coverage models.
