Job summary

Colorado Access in Denver is seeking a Director of Pharmacy Services to shape our pharmacy program and support our mission. The role leads PBM contracts, oversees Medicaid/CHP+ programs, and guides the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee.

Required: PharmD, Colorado licensure, and at least five years of progressive pharmacy leadership. The position offers a hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits in a mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree (PharmD) required.
• Active Colorado PharmD licensure required; driver license may be required.
• Minimum five years of progressive pharmacy supervisory/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and maintains an effective pharmacy program by managing the PBM contract.
• Oversees Medicaid, CHP+ and marketplace drug benefit programs.
• Leads the Pharmacy & Therapeutics Committee and DUR/DUE processes.
• Develops prescribing protocols and prior authorization criteria.
• Manages vendor relationships and ensures regulatory and NCQA compliance.
• Supervises staff and partners with provider networks and health plan teams.
