Legacy Community Health seeks a Director of Pharmacy Operations in Houston to lead medication management and pharmacy services. You will shape workflows, supervise teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive improvements in patient care across our clinics.

The role emphasizes leadership, strategic planning, and collaboration with clinical teams to optimize outcomes and cost efficiency in a mission-driven health system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy; Texas license required.
• 5–10 years of pharmacy leadership or administrative experience; supervisory experience.
• Master’s degree in Public Health or Healthcare/Business management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic direction for Retail Pharmacy Services.
• Align workforce planning with patient care needs and regulatory standards.
• Design workflows for timely, efficient care and safety.
• Lead quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
• Collect data and use reporting tools to identify improvements.
• Oversee information systems for medication safety and compliance.
• Manage pharmacy inventory to control costs and maximize revenue.
• Collaborate on initiatives to improve therapeutic outcomes.
• Ensure audits comply with controlled substances and 340B regulations.
• Oversee contracting and billing practices; manage budgets.
