Legacy Community Health in Houston, TX seeks a Director of Pharmacy Strategic Programs & Innovation to lead cutting-edge pharmacy programs and expand patient access. This role partners with organizational leaders to drive strategic initiatives and ensure programs align with our mission to serve the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy.
• Active Texas Board of Pharmacy license in good standing.
• Five years of Pharmacy experience with at least three years in leadership level positions.
• Administrative, management, or supervisory experience.
• Experience working in cross-functional teams and project management.
• Master's degree in public health or healthcare/business management preferred.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and state/federal laws governing medical and pharmacy services.
• Strong leadership, mediation, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to apply statistics and graphical representation principles.
• Computer literacy in email, word processing, and office management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead pharmacy initiatives from concept to pilot, ensuring successful execution across the system.
• Manage timelines, deliverables, budget, and cross-department collaboration effectively.
• Provide regular updates to the Pharmacy leadership team to maintain project visibility.
• Identify and address potential roadblocks, delays, and concerns proactively. Collaborate with Pharmacy leadership to resolve issues efficiently.
• Support evaluation of pilot programs and update initiatives as necessary.
• Partner with the Director of Pharmacy Operations to ensure project feasibility.
• Oversee implementation of projects and initiatives with leadership approval.
• Support rollout of new service lines and develop pilot launches.
• Ensure alignment with compliance, finance, and clinical priorities.
• Partner with Marketing & Communications to support pharmacy campaigns and launches.
• Seek and acquire external business and prescription volume sources.
