Job summary

Legacy Community Health is seeking a Pharmacy Manager (Southwest) to lead retail pharmacy services, oversee staffing, workflow design, and quality assurance across pharmacy operations. The role focuses on safe medication use, regulatory compliance, and financial stewardship while collaborating with clinicians to improve patient outcomes.

The position requires a Texas-licensed pharmacist with leadership experience, strong communication, and a commitment to community health.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy
Active Texas Board of Pharmacy License
Must maintain BLS / CPR

Responsibilities

Establish strategic planning for the Retail Pharmacy Services.
Identify staffing requirements to meet patient care needs and regulatory requirements.
Design, manage, and ensure workflows to support efficiency and timeliness of care.
Establish quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
Perform data collection and use reporting tools.
Oversee information systems and technology including support systems, automation, and barcoding for safety.
Oversee pharmacy inventory, control pharmaceutical expenses, and maximize revenue.
Collaborate to develop initiatives that optimize therapeutic outcomes and cost-effective pharmacotherapy.
Ensure audits for controlled substances and 340B adherence.
Oversee financial operations and contracting.
