Job summary

Capgemini in the United States is seeking a Business Analyst specializing in Pharma/Life Sciences to elicit and document data requirements and interfaces for client projects. You will map requirements to data specifications and support the creation of detailed data models, rules, and test cases.

You will also help with rollout, adoption, and post-implementation support across pharma environments, collaborating with QA and solution teams to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Mandatory experience in Pharma/Life Sciences
• Experience writing data rules, formats, and KPI specifications
• Experience with third‑party vendors and data exchange interfaces
• Expertise mapping data requirements to business requirements and test cases
• 5‑7+ years of business/systems analysis experience
• Understanding of compliance and validation in pharma organizations
• IIBA certification (CBAP, CCBA) preferred
• Proven delivery success using standard tools and best practices

Responsibilities

• Elicit business, system, and data requirements from pharmaceutical and life sciences organizations
• Define, analyze, and prioritize requirements and interface agreements
• Write detailed functional and system specifications, business rules, and processes
• Lead common standards and tools for documenting requirements and data specifications
• Perform gap analysis for requirements, data models, and interfaces
• Assist in rollout, adoption, and post-implementation support
• Provide consulting services in the pharma/life sciences domain
• Map business requirements to detailed data specifications
• Partner with QA teams to validate test cases and data accuracy
