Job summary

Stripe is seeking a senior product strategist-operator to join the Strategic Business Performance team. You will own metrics, diagnose high-stakes problems, and translate corporate theses into in-year action across product and business strategy.

You will work cross-functionally to synthesize data, financials, and product insights, preparing leadership-ready narratives and driving initiatives with senior stakeholders in a fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in product/data analytics within product organizations or strategic business performance teams at high-growth tech companies.
• Experience in Product Strategy, Product Management, or GM-style roles with P&L ownership or business outcomes.
• Curiosity about business models and data, identifying signals and trends to uncover insights.
• Proven track record of driving growth through analytical insights and execution.
• Apply AI to enhance decision-making and operational efficiency, using the right AI tools when beneficial.
• Strong product sense and understanding of how software is built and scaled.
• Experience navigating ambiguous, cross-functional problems with senior stakeholders.
• Fintech experience is a plus but not required.
• Experience facilitating senior leadership/stakeholder meetings to drive strategic discussions in Stripe.

Responsibilities

• Own and define the metrics that matter for in-year performance.
• Lead surge projects to diagnose and unblock critical goals at risk.
• Translate long-horizon theses into in-year operational reality across product, risk, and marketing.
• Prepare CEO/COO-level materials translating signals into actionable diagnoses.
• Collaborate with Strategy and Product teams to align external market forces with internal execution.
