Teal Drones in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a strategic, numbers-driven Material Program Manager (MPM) to lead end-to-end material architecture for PCBA, balancing rapid NPI launches with scalable mass production. 8+ years experience in electronics material program management or hardware supply chain required.

You will scrub BOMs, manage prototype procurement, ensure smooth data handoffs into mass production, and govern supplier and EMS relationships to secure reliable component availability.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• NPI Material Readiness & Engineering Collaboration: scrub BOMs, flag obsolescence risks and compliance before design freeze; prototyping sourcing strategy for EVT/DVT/PVT; transition governance for PCBA from prototypes to mass production.
• Mass Production Component Planning & Execution: maintain CTB visibility; translate production forecasts into component-level plans; monitor lead times and geopolitical risks for mitigation.
• Strategic EMS & Vendor Governance: track inventory levels, E&O exposure, and factory allocations; drive escalation for shortages and expedited delivery dates.
