Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of PCBA manufacturing lifecycles, semiconductor dynamics, and electronic commodities.
• ERP/MRP systems and PLM tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle; Agile, Arena).
• Advanced Excel (pivot tables, multi-source BOM consolidation).
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• NPI Material Readiness & Engineering Collaboration: scrub BOMs, secure prototype material allocations, manage data handoff to mass production.
• Mass Production Component Planning & Execution: maintain CTB visibility, translate forecasts to component plans, monitor lead times and allocations.
• Strategic EMS & Vendor Governance: monitor inventory, manage E&O exposure, drive shortages escalations and expedited deliveries.

This role requires a 8+ year veteran who will split focus evenly between launching fast-paced New Product Introductions (NPI) and scaling long-term Mass Production.

Leveraging deep expertise in component planning and market intelligence, you will proactively mitigate global supply chain risks from early prototype builds through product maturity, ensuring flawless execution with our EMS partners.

Key Responsibilities

NPI Material Readiness & Engineering Collaboration

• Early Lifecycle Risk Scrubbing: Partner with Hardware Engineering during early design phases. Scrub Bill of Materials (BOMs) using Z2Data to flag cross-references, obsolescence risks, and compliance flags before design freeze.
• Prototyping Sourcing Strategy: Manage rapid-turn prototype material procurement. Secure component allocations for initial engineering validation builds (EVT/DVT/PVT).
• Transition Governance: Standardize and own the data handoff process as PCBAs transition from engineering prototypes into stable mass production.

Mass Production Component Planning & Execution

• Clear-to-Build (CTB) Management: Maintain rigorous, real-time CTB line visibility. Resolve component shortages before they impact production schedules at our EMS providers.
• Demand & Forecast Alignment: Translate rolling production forecasts into actionable component-level plans. Align capacity commitments with Tier-1 chipmakers and distributors.
• Resiliency Management: Constantly monitor market supply health using Z2Data. Track lead times, geo-political risks, and structural component allocations to formulate mitigation strategies.

Strategic EMS & Vendor Governance

• Material Liability Control: Monitor Contract Manufacturer inventory levels, excess and obsolete (E&O) exposure, and manufacturing component yields.
• Shortage Escalation: Drive emergency vendor escalations for high-impact shortages. Secure factory allocations and negotiate expedited delivery dates.

Required Qualifications

• Experience: 8+ years of direct experience in electronics material program management, component planning, or hardware supply chain execution.
• Market Intelligence Tools: Hands-on proficiency using Z2Data (or identical component risk/obsolescence databases like SiliconExpert) to proactively scrub BOMs and manage cross-referencing.
• Component Mastery: In-depth knowledge of PCBA manufacturing lifecycles, global semiconductor dynamics, and active/passive electronic commodities.
• Software Tools: Deep knowledge of enterprise ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and PLM applications (e.g., Agile, Arena).
• Analytical Engine: Advanced Excel mastery (pivot tables, complex data architecture, multi-source BOM consolidation).
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS (CPIM or CSCP) certification.
• Deep network of direct contacts at major electronic component distributors and global foundries.
