Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. is seeking a Director of Payroll Services to lead the global payroll function from its Dalton, Georgia HQ, with relocation support for eligible candidates. Reporting to the Vice President of Total Rewards, this role combines strategic leadership with policy governance.

The position manages more than $1 billion in annual payroll for about 18,000 U.S. and international associates, oversees a 20+ person team and multimillion-dollar budget, and drives transformation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of leadership in payroll or HR operations.
• Deep expertise in payroll operations, payroll tax and accounting, wage and hour requirements, and SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Sets enterprise strategy for payroll, time and attendance, payroll tax & accounting, and related HR processes.
• Leads payroll transformation and modernization initiatives that improve accuracy, scalability, compliance, and employee experience.
• Owns payroll vendor strategy, governance, performance management, contracts, and continuous improvement.
• Manages the Payroll Services budget, resources, operating expenses, technology investments, and financial accountability.
