Job summary

Shaw Industries Group, Inc. seeks a Director of Payroll Services to lead enterprise payroll strategy and operations for roughly 18,000 US and international associates. You will drive transformation, oversee governance, and partner with HR, Finance, IT, and legal to ensure accurate, compliant payroll across regions.

The role reports to the VP of Total Rewards, leads a 20+ person team, and manages a multimillion-dollar budget, leveraging technology and analytics to optimize costs and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 10+ years in payroll, HR operations, Total Rewards, or related leadership roles preferred.
• Deep expertise in payroll operations, payroll tax & accounting, wage/hour, audit controls & SOX compliance.

Responsibilities

• Sets enterprise strategy for payroll, time & attendance, payroll tax & accounting, and related HR processes.
• Leads payroll transformation and modernization initiatives for accuracy, scalability, and compliance.
• Oversees payroll governance, controls, audits, tax reporting, and international compliance.
