Sedron Technologies, LLC is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager to own end-to-end payroll and benefits for a multi-state, shift-based manufacturing and salaried workforce. The role covers Canadian payroll via EOR and requires strong compliance, controls, and collaboration with People Operations, Accounting, and external advisors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR/Accounting/Business or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive payroll and benefits administration experience multi-state with hybrid hourly/salaried workforce.
• CPP or FPC certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Rippling or similar HRIS and strong Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of WA State L&I, garnishment/wage withholding, multi-state compliance; high discretion.

Responsibilities

• Own accurate multi-state payroll processing for hourly, shift-based and salaried employees.
• Review and audit timecards; resolve discrepancies with employees and managers.
• Manage payroll corrections, retroactive pay, and off-cycle payrolls.
• Establish and maintain payroll and benefits controls and documentation.
• Coordinate Canadian payroll via EOR partner; ensure deductions and changes.
• Administer employee benefit programs including medical/dental/vision and 401(k).
• Lead annual open enrollment and benefits renewals with stakeholders.
• Manage third-party relationships and payroll/benefits vendors; escalation point.
• Support leaves, wage garnishments, and payroll tax notices.
• Reconcile payroll/benefits accounts and lead year-end filings (W-2s, 1095-Cs).
• Develop payroll/benefits reporting for HR, Finance and leadership.
