Job summary

NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island seeks a Manager, Dietary Patient Services to oversee patient food and nutrition operations with hands-on daily involvement and programmatic ownership. You will manage meal delivery, tray accuracy, and regulatory compliance while leading budgeting and staffing decisions.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Clinical Nutrition, Culinary, and hospital leadership to提升 patient experience, safety, and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years of managerial or supervisory experience in foodservice or healthcare.
• ServSafe certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient meal service and operations, including meal delivery and tray assembly.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, and regulatory compliance (HACCP; TJC and CMS).
• Recruit, hire, train, and coach staff; manage performance and compliance.
• Develop and manage departmental budget and staffing plans.
• Collaborate with Clinical Nutrition, Culinary and hospital leadership.
