Job summary

Lackawanna College in northeastern Pennsylvania seeks a recruiting liaison to strengthen ties between secondary districts and the college. This full-time, grant-funded role requires in-person duties with travel up to 50%, and candidates must reside within commuting distance of Scranton or Hazleton/Sunbury.

You will coordinate freshman scheduling for POS & CTE programs, develop articulation agreements, and attend career fairs to support student transitions into postsecondary paths.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in related field.
• 1 year recruiting experience preferred.
• Good written and spoken communication skills and organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop/expand relationships between secondary districts and Lackawanna College.
• Improve matriculation and success by serving as liaison between secondary and postsecondary institutions.
• Formalize articulation agreements for a seamless program of study.
• Work with area schools on career awareness and disseminate information on high-skill, high-wage occupations.
• Maintain records of contacts, interviews, and placement of vocational students.
• Coordinate freshman scheduling for POS & CTE students.
• Attend job fairs and school career fairs.
• Join curriculum committees and assist data collection for PIMS.
• Collaborate with regional recruiters to implement POS/CTE advising across locations.
• Maintain a biweekly activity log.
