Responsibilities

Develop/expand relationships with secondary districts and Lackawanna College.
Improve postsecondary matriculation through liaison between secondary and postsecondary institutions.
Formalize articulation agreements for a seamless program of study.
Collaborate with area schools on career awareness and share occupational information for high-skill, high-wage jobs.
Maintain relationships with area businesses and respond to local job market needs.
Strengthen secondary-postsecondary links via faculty sharing and dual credit initiatives.
Keep complete records of school and student contacts, employer contacts, interviews, and placements.
Serve as an academic advisor and coordinate freshman scheduling for POS & CTE students.
Attend job fairs and school career events.
Maintain professional memberships and participate in professional development.
Serve on the College’s curriculum committee.
Assist Local Application Administrator for PIMS data collection.
Coordinate POS/CTE Advising across locations with Regional Recruiter & Advisor teams.
Maintain a biweekly activity log and upload to Teams.
