Job summary

Lackawanna College in Scranton, PA, is seeking a Program of Study Coordinator & Recruiter to support secondary students transitioning to postsecondary study and recruit them into a Lackawanna College POS degree.

This hybrid, grant-funded role requires occasional in-person attendance and travel up to 50%, with a focus on developing partnerships with local districts and area schools to promote career pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in related field.
• 1 year recruiting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop/expand relationships with secondary districts and Lackawanna College.
• Improve matriculation and success by acting as liaison between secondary and postsecondary institutions.
• Formalize articulation agreements to implement a seamless program of study.
• Collaborate with area schools on career awareness and disseminate occupational information.
• Maintain records of school and student contacts and placements.
• Attend job fairs and school career fairs.
• Serve as academic advisor and coordinate freshman scheduling for POS & CTE students.
• Support POS and CTE advising across locations.
