Job summary

The Shed, opening in spring 2019 on Manhattan’s West Side, seeks a Corporate Partnerships Associate to support corporate sponsorships and the new Corporate Membership Program. The role reports to the Director of Corporate Strategy and Partnerships and involves preparing proposals, grants, contracts, and event support.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in corporate fundraising or sponsorships, strong administrative skills, and a collaborative, detail‑oriented approach.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of professional experience in corporate fundraising or corporate sponsorships at for‑profit or non‑profit organizations.
• Experience in sales/marketing or development in a non‑profit or arts organization is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; highly organized and collaborative.
• Advanced computer skills; familiarity with fundraising CRM and databases such as Tessitura.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the Director of Corporate Strategy and Partnerships, including scheduling and briefing materials.
• Assist in generating sponsorship proposals, grants, contracts and final reports; manage sponsor benefits fulfillment.
• Oversee corporate sponsorship recapitulation, reporting, and branding coordination across materials and events.
• Support launch and management of The Shed’s Corporate Membership Program and related outreach.
