Job summary

Yale University’s Yale School of Public Health seeks a Program Manager for External Partnerships to lead strategy and execution of the external partnerships portfolio. You will steward existing relationships, engage across faculty and administrative units, and own systems that keep the partnership pipeline flowing smoothly.

You will grow the number and value of partnerships, identify new collaboration and funding opportunities, and represent YSPH externally with initiative and independent

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and four years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Experience in partnership, account management, or university program management.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversees advancement and growth of the program, aligning with goals and public messaging.
• Collaborates with leadership, faculty, and external partners to implement strategic plans.
• Cultivates community partnerships and measures grant success and program impact.
• Identifies funding opportunities and assists in grants, contracts, and budgeting.
• Develops program administration infrastructure and staffing needs.
• Tracks activities, reports progress to leadership, and adjusts as needed.
• Manages communications, outreach content, and website updates for partnerships.
• Represent Yale in meetings with partners and collaborators when appropriate.
