Job summary

The Boston Foundation seeks a Partnerships Fundraising Manager to support BEF and MLK Boston fundraising efforts. This two-year role focuses on organizational and strategic support, donor prospecting, and coordination of meetings with funders.

Responsibilities include managing donor records in Salesforce, coordinating grant writing, and providing event support while ensuring data integrity and timely reporting to leadership.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years work related experience.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, customer service orientation.
• MS Office proficiency; Salesforce experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute prospect research to qualify prospects for cultivation and solicitation.
• Prepare staff and leadership for prospect meetings with funders, including briefing materials and logistics.
• Maintain prospect, donor and fund records in Salesforce; ensure timely entry of activities.
• Coordinate grant writing and reporting for BEF and MLK Boston.
• Run Salesforce and Foundation Power reports; analyze donor activity data.
• Provide administrative support for events and collaborate to maintain data integrity.
