Position Summary

Seasoned legal sales industry professional with extensive experience in driving revenue growth, managing key accounts, and consistently exceeding sales targets. Strong background in consultative selling, client relationship management, and strategic planning. Seeking a role where proven sales expertise, resilience, and business development skills can contribute to the organization’s continued success.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a strategic sales and marketing approach to secure new and additional business for Compass.
  • Leverage and maintain relationships with key leaders in the legal community.
  • Systematically and autonomously outreach to current contacts and new prospective clients through various channels, resulting in profitable business for Compass.
  • Attend and promote Compass at trial lawyer events and seminars.
  • Manage all leads using Salesforce to qualify prospects and guide them through the sales process.
  • Manage sales data acquired through sales efforts using Salesforce.
  • Educate attorneys on the value of Compass’ services to drive case referrals.
  • Meet or exceed all sales goals set by the Leadership Team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years’ experience in various B2B sales techniques, including cold calling, lead generation, and office visits.
  • Over 5 years’ experience providing excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven history of sourcing new clients.
  • 2+ years’ experience with Salesforce or other CRM, required.
  • 5-10+ years of experience working in legal services sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to use Excel filters and mail merge functions; capable of building presentation content and slides for clients.
  • Strong communication, speaking, and writing skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 35% of the time, with flexibility for up to 50% travel based on business needs.
