Frontwave Credit Union is seeking a Business Development Officer to drive membership and loan growth through strategic relationships with local employer groups and community organizations. Evening and weekend events are required, with a focus on financial education and public relations.

The role emphasizes building partnerships, leading outreach initiatives, and representing the credit union at community events while coordinating sponsorships and growth-focused programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related disciplines.
• 2–5 years of proven sales, business development or community relations experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement business development and community relations plans with budget input.
• Identify and solicit Select Employee Groups (SEGs) to drive membership and loan growth.
• Maintain relationships with key SEG officials and community organizations to create partnerships.
• Create programs and promotions with SEGs and community groups.
• Coordinate sponsorships and event participation; conduct on-site SEG and community events.
• Deliver credit union presentations and financial literacy programs.
• Lead public relations efforts for branch openings and community involvement.
• Represent the credit union at community meetings and chamber events.
• Analyze needs of employee groups and propose appropriate solutions.
• Supervise staff, recruit and manage performance; approve time sheets.
