Strategic Partner Lead, Account Executive-Google Cloud

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Strategic Partner Lead Account Executive with Google Cloud Data Warehouse experience (Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) to build out a dynamic cloud sales overlay team. This role will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships with Cloud Data Warehouses and their ecosystem of channel, SI, and consulting partners to enhance our product offerings and drive mutual business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partnership Development: Identify, negotiate, and establish strategic partnerships with Google Cloud and other cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, Databricks, etc.) to enhance our product capabilities and market reach;
    • Build out pipeline opportunities between Domo and GCP.
    • Create co-sell opportunities with Domo and GCP AE’s.
  • Google Cloud Marketplace: Work with the Domo partner team to successfully create, nurture and execute Domo for GCP Marketplace;
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture strong C-Level relationships with key stakeholders between Google Cloud and Domo, and within our organization to ensure alignment and successful partnership outcomes;
  • Build-Out GCP Overlay Sales Team: As a player coach, you will be expected to build out the playbook for Domo reps to support AE’s selling to GCP. As targets and KPI’s are exceeded, this will turn into an overlay sales manager role:
    • Participate in interviews of potential Sr. Partner AE for the cloud overlay business.
    • Build out GCP | Domo Sales play to increase revenue for Google Cloud and Domo through AE partnerships.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, product, and engineering, to integrate Cloud Data Warehouse solutions into our product offerings and go-to-market strategies;
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for partnership growth and expansion;
  • GTM Execution: Support and execute joint lead generation activities including field events, webinars, tradeshows, etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience working with Cloud Data Warehouses (Google Cloud, Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, etc.) and their ecosystems;
  • At least 10 years experience in Sales in the software/high tech industry; Partnership experience in the data warehouse, BI, and analytics industry is preferred;
  • Bachelor’s degree in advertising, marketing, business or similar field OR equivalent professional experience;
  • Proven track record of success in negotiating and closing strategic technology or channel partnerships;
  • Advanced computer and sales skills, including market requirements, customer support and advertising techniques;
  • Handle high-stress environments while still being able to drive sales teams towards goals;
  • Solid verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal communication skills with C-Level executives;
  • Previous experience developing strategic business and sales plans;
  • Handle details accurately and in a timely manner;
  • Highly driven individual that is execution focused and has a strong sense of urgency.
