Job summary

ERM is seeking a Partner in Environmental Permitting Capital Projects – Oil & Gas to guide major energy investments from concept through execution across North America. You will lead environmental and permitting strategies, manage senior client relationships, and drive multi-million-dollar programs while shaping go-to-market plans with regional and global leaders.

You will mentor teams, foster a collaborative culture, and ensure project delivery with a strong emphasis on regulatory navigation,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in environmental science, biology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting, with a strong focus on the Energy sector, and oil and gas clients in particular.
  • Proven track record of delivering multi-million-dollar programs and driving commercial growth.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory landscape, permitting processes, and stakeholder dynamics in the energy industry.

Responsibilities

  • Lead client account development, sales, and delivery of ERM's full suite of consulting services.
  • Collaborate with regional and global leadership to shape go-to-market strategies for energy and low-carbon economy projects.
  • Identify and pursue high-potential opportunities, aligning ERM's capabilities with client needs.
  • Ensure project success through rigorous planning, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Represent ERM in technical communities and industry forums, contributing thought leadership and innovation.
  • Uphold ERM's commitment to health & safety, quality, and sustainability in every engagement.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies that strengthen ERM's position within the traditional energy sector.
  • Mentor consultants and project teams while fostering a high-performance, inclusive, and collaborative culture.
