Job summary

Google is seeking a Strategic Partner Development Manager in California to open doors with potential partners, lead exploratory discussions, and evaluate business opportunities. You will steer cross-functional teams and mentor managers, presenting strategies to senior leadership.

Part of the Global Research and Tech and Society Partnerships team and Project Suncatcher, you will negotiate bespoke agreements in regulated environments, align with Engineering, Legal, Finance, and product units, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in a partner-facing role at a technology company or start-up.
• Experience in agreement negotiation, partner management or product management in the satellite or technology development environment.
• Experience building internal and external senior-level relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end agreement flow from scoping to signing using Google's systems.
• Scope, draft, and close Suncatcher agreements covering supply, IP licensing, and staffing.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships to secure favorable pricing and reliable service.
• Coordinate across internal divisions to align Suncatcher initiatives with broader procurement.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Legal, and Finance to review contracts and mitigate risk.
