Job summary

ICON Strategic Solutions is seeking an Outsourcing Manager in Center Square, PA to lead the contracting lifecycle for complex external vendor engagements and negotiate commercially sound agreements. You will partner with internal stakeholders and service providers to manage risk and ensure high-quality outsourcing decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; legal education or contract management experience preferred.
• Experience leading complex contract negotiations and managing vendor relationships.
• Strong knowledge of contract standards, risk allocation, budget structures, cost analysis, invoicing and reconciliation processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to identify risks and adjust negotiation strategies.
• Foundational knowledge of pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare industry including GCP, GDPR, data privacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead contracting strategy and independently negotiate complex agreements.
• Manage contracts through full lifecycle: strategy, drafting, negotiation, execution, issue resolution, post-contract support.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align requirements and drive timely decisions.
• Identify risks and develop practical solutions supporting business objectives.
• Analyze vendor budgets, rate cards, payment terms, invoices and reconciliations to find cost-saving opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
