Job summary

ICON is seeking a Senior Manager, Clinical Operations in Center Square, PA to lead and coordinate project activities, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality. You will drive cross-functional collaboration and advance team capability while managing stakeholder expectations.

The role requires a solid track record in project and programme management, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Travel about 30% is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in project management, business, or related field preferred with significant project management and team leadership experience.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion within scope, time, and budget constraints.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills with ability to manage project teams and prioritize tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies; certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Developing and managing detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for successful delivery.
• Leading cross-functional project teams and coordinating efforts to meet objectives with effective collaboration.
• Monitoring progress, identifying risks and issues, and implementing strategies to keep projects on track.
• Engaging with stakeholders to manage expectations, provide updates and ensure alignment with goals.
• Preparing and presenting project reports, status updates, and performance metrics to senior management.
