Alameda County is seeking a County Training & Organizational Development Specialist to design, develop and deliver training programs for County employees. You will provide professional consultation to departments on training and organizational development needs and deliver leadership and mandated training sessions.

The role emphasizes developing programs, using instructor-led and e-learning formats, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders within the Training & Education Center.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, human resources, communications, public or business administration, or a closely related field.
• Five years of full-time progressively responsible professional experience designing and delivering training and organizational development programs for a large organization.
• Municipal government and/or Human Resources experience is highly desirable.
• Masters Degree in a related area may substitute for two years of experience.

Responsabilités

• Plan, design, coordinate and deliver training and development programs for Alameda County.
• Provide professional consultation to County agencies on training and organizational development needs.
• Lead leadership and supervisory training, staff development and mandated training sessions.
