Job summary

H.E.B. is seeking a senior practitioner to guide organization design projects, transforming structure, change initiatives, and enterprise effectiveness. You will translate business goals into multi-year strategies and roadmaps, serving as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on design choices.

You will lead high-impact programs, evolve methodologies, and mentor senior advisors, building organizational capability and ensuring sustained impact across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience in organization change or design.
• 7+ years in organizational effectiveness, organizational design, workforce planning, management consulting, HR strategy, or organizational transformation.
• Experience leading organizational assessments, restructures, operating model design, or workforce strategy engagements.
• Proven ability to build business cases with headcount, structure, productivity, and financial impacts.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and executives through complex organizational decisions.
• Strong facilitation skills with workshops and executive sessions.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into actionable executive recommendations.
• Demonstrated ownership of projects from diagnosis through implementation.
• Experience with large-scale, multi-site organizations.
• Advanced workforce analytics and financial modeling capabilities.
• Experience partnering directly with executive leadership teams.

Responsibilities

• Sets enterprise-level direction for organizational effectiveness and organization design, translating broad business outcomes into multi-year strategies, operating models, and roadmaps.
• Serves as a strategic advisor to senior and executive leadership, influencing decisions on organization structure and transformation.
• Leads complex, high-impact organizational design initiatives with long-term business implications.
• Defines and evolves org effectiveness methodologies, standards, and delivery models for scalability and impact.
• Anticipates enterprise trends and risks; advises leaders on tradeoffs and strategic options.
• Oversees large programs and multiple workstreams with measurable performance improvements.
• N avigates stakeholder dynamics, facilitating decision forums and aligning executives on critical design choices.
• Translates qualitative and quantitative insights into clear recommendations driving enterprise-wide change.
• Oversees work delivered by internal teams and external partners for coherence and relevance.
• Coaches senior advisors and builds organizational capability in org effectiveness.
• Establishes networks to embed org effectiveness practices into core processes.
• Measures long-term effectiveness and refines strategies based on evolving business needs.
