Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Business Analyst for ORMB to bridge finance stakeholders and the ORMB team. You will capture requirements for billing, revenue, tax, and financial reporting, translating them into functional specs to guide enhancements, integrations, and upgrades.

You will support UAT, data reconciliation, and cross-environment process continuity, working with Agile teams and third-party vendors. Strong accounting knowledge and SQL skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 3+ years in business analysis in finance systems or enterprise billing.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery teams alongside Java developers, DBAs, QA engineers.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ORMB, CC&B, or comparable billing platform.
• Strong understanding of core accounting concepts: AR, revenue recognition, GL, tax, close processes.
• Experience authoring BRDs, functional specs, use cases, UAT test plans in enterprise IT.
• Proficiency in SQL/PL SQL for data querying and reconciliation.
• Ability to translate complex requirements to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act as liaison between business stakeholders, ORMB development team, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Elicit, document, and validate BRDs, functional specs, and data mapping for enhancements.
• Define and coordinate UAT for enhancements with test scenarios and traceability.
• Create documentation: BRDs, process maps, integration specs, data mappings.
• Manage change with impact assessments, communications, training materials, and guides.
• Maintain living repository of documentation including process maps and configuration registers.
• Analyze data and present clear insights to stakeholders and leadership.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field

3+ years of business analysis experience in Finance systems or enterprise billing

Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery teams

Hands-on experience with Oracle ORMB, CC&B, or similar platform

Strong understanding of core accounting concepts

Experience authoring BRDs, functional specs, UAT plans

Proficiency in SQL/PL SQL

Ability to communicate requirements to both tech and non-tech

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced env
