Security Level 5 is hiring an operations lead to own internal functions, onboarding, payroll, and governance as we scale. You’ll manage office logistics, vendor relationships, and the policies that keep the growing nonprofit coherent. You’ll shape offsites, rituals, and onboarding experiences while ensuring secure, compliant operations across the team in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in operations, office management, or executive support, preferably in startups or nonprofits.
• Demonstrated ability to manage onboarding, events, and vendor relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Own internal operations, onboarding, payroll, accounting, and legal relations.
• Shape org direction through policies, processes, and offsite planning.
• Run internal events, happy hours, rituals, and office culture initiatives.
• Coordinate with providers, accountants, payroll HR, and legal counsel.
• Maintain living, practical policy documents and SaaS tooling.
• Handle miscellaneous tasks to keep team moving and compliant.
