Job summary

Datavant is seeking an Analytics & Strategic Operations professional to turn complex operational data into actionable insights. You will own KPI analyses, build capacity and staffing models, and create executive-ready materials for leadership.

Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets, and tools like Google Apps Script/AI workflows is required. You will partner with finance, operations, and senior leaders across the organization to drive data-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in management consulting, finance, strategic planning, business analytics, or an operational analyst role.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets modeling skills; able to build accurate, scalable models from scratch.
• Hands-on experience building tools with Google Apps Script, AI-assisted coding, or similar; able to assess options and recommend the best-fit solution for the problem.
• Strong analytical skills; able to structure ambiguous problems, work with complex datasets, and extract actionable insights.
• High standard for accuracy and rigor, with the ability to move quickly without sacrificing quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to turn data into clear, compelling stories for senior leadership in Google Slides.

Responsibilities

• Own the analysis leadership relies on: monitor KPI trends, diagnose variances, and conduct root cause analyses that drive action.
• Build and maintain operational and financial models, such as capacity, throughput, staffing, and scenario planning.
• Turn complex data into clear, concise insights and recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences, including executive-ready materials.
• Identify manual, repetitive processes, then recommend and build the best-fit solution using Google Apps Script, AI workflows, or other tools.
• Build and maintain dashboards, lightweight programs, and AI workflows that give leadership timely visibility into performance.
