Job summary

BDO is seeking an Operations Project Director to partner with business line stakeholders to achieve strategic priorities across the practice. The role focuses on project coordination, business analysis, process design, ongoing tracking, and issue resolution to support the department's overall business strategy.

The position oversees department initiatives, develops PM tools, ensures timely delivery, and maintains quality standards through close collaboration with practice leads and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of project management/office operations experience.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates and develops updates of initiatives, pilots, and projects for the department.
• Develops project management tools and templates (schedules, status reports).
• Manages tasks to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
• Monitors progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, and recommending actions.
• Gathers and coordinates deliverables to ensure quality and consistency; shares documents appropriately.
• Identifies gaps or issues and coordinates with practice leads.
• Leads project-related meetings between key stakeholders as needed.
• Creates high-quality materials and presentations for leadership.
• Documents and distributes notes and follow-ups from internal meetings.
• Improves processes to meet regulatory and customer needs and increases efficiency.
• Attends internal meetings as needed.
• Monitors department productivity through analysis and reports.
• Prepares budget/goal comparisons; investigates irregularities.
• Assists in forecasting and provides pipeline/Win-Loss reports.
