Job summary

OSSE's College and Career Readiness team seeks a Management Analyst to partner with management and project teams to conduct complex studies, measure work, and benchmark processes to improve efficiency across DC's education programs.

The role includes advising managers, streamlining policies, and preparing briefing materials and presentations, while representing the supervisor in meetings on significant program issues; work is in an office setting with potential DC site visits.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in management analysis and process improvement.
• Experience monitoring grants and advising on budget and funds control.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out complex management studies on work measurement, methods, and procedures.
• Counsel program managers on management options, reports, and control techniques.
• Prepare briefing materials, testimony, and presentations for supervisors.
• Attend meetings on behalf of the supervisor when issues of significant program importance are discussed.
