Job summary

Waymo is seeking a Validation Operations Planning professional to own demand and supply planning for testing/validation domains. You will partner with product and engineering leaders to drive repeatable, accurate planning cycles and model-based forecasting across the enterprise.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision making, and continuous improvement of planning tools and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading end-to-end planning cycles and acting as a strategic cross-functional partner.
• Strong business judgement and ability to distill complex data for recommendations to leadership.
• Hands-on expertise with enterprise planning platforms and data tools (SQL).
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Finance/Analytics or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in planning, supply chain, strategic operations, or analytical business functions.

Responsibilities

• Own the testing and validation demand and supply plans for your domain with stakeholders.
• Drive planning cycles to optimize operations across planning, product, and execution.
• Build models to forecast, run what-if analyses, and extract actionable insights.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives to transform operating models and improve efficiency.
• Enhance planning software and spreadsheet models to ensure forecast accuracy.
