Job summary

Central Steel & Wire is seeking an Operations Manager to lead and oversee warehouse operations and strategic processes. You will develop strategies, enforce policies, and drive performance through data-driven reviews and continuous improvement.

The role requires strong leadership, manufacturing/warehouse experience, and knowledge of ISO 9001:2008. Competitive salary and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; HS diploma with 7+ years manufacturing experience acceptable.
• 5+ years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in metal processing/distribution.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001:2008 policies and Lean/6-Sigma concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage front-line supervisors to ensure safe, efficient daily operations.
• Forecast staffing, supply, and equipment needs based on volume.
• Mentor staff and drive performance and development.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.
• Drive strategic initiatives and ensure timely execution.
• Oversee maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure OHSA and company safety training for warehouse staff.
• Perform additional duties as required.
