Job summary

District Department of Transportation (DDOT) seeks a seasoned administrator to lead management, asset and inspections programs. You will coordinate fleet, facilities, and customer services within the Maintenance Administration, ensuring ROW compliance and infrastructure oversight.

The role requires the ability to exercise independent judgment, manage cross‑agency collaboration, and deliver policy‑driven improvements for pavement assets and public space regulation.

Qualifications

• Applicant must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level.

Responsibilities

• Formulates program initiatives, strategies, and policies to reach DDOT goals.
• Manages funding requests, pricing, and strategic planning information dissemination.
• Performs special assignments and serves on inter-agency task forces.
• Acts as liaison with federal, state, and local agencies and industry groups.
• Coordinates assignments, manages inquiries, and conducts performance assessments.
• Leads complex studies and evaluations for senior leadership decisions.
• Maintains coordination with District agencies and external partners.
