Job summary

MyStaff in West Omaha is seeking an Operations Strategy & Planning Manager to improve processes and standardize procedures across locations. You will partner with leadership to drive growth, efficiency, and scalable operations.

The role blends strategy with hands-on execution: identify opportunities, develop KPIs, visit sites nationwide, and lead cross‑functional projects to turn ideas into action while planning for staffing and technology needs.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in operations, process improvement or similar.
• Experience across multiple locations or departments.
• Strong Lean, Kaizen or Six Sigma knowledge a plus.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to simplify complex processes and improve workflows.
• Strong communication with ops teams and leadership.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify ways to make current operations more efficient and consistent.
• Visit locations to assess what's working and what needs improvement.
• Develop and implement standardized processes across sites.
• Lead process improvement and operational excellence initiatives.

We're looking for an Operations Strategy & Planning Manager who loves figuring out how things can work better. This person will work closely with operational leadership to improve processes, create consistency across multiple locations and help the company continue to grow and scale.

This isn't just a strategy role - we need someone who can identify opportunities and then help put those ideas into action.

What You'll Do

• Look at current operations and identify ways to make them more efficient and consistent
• Visit different locations to understand what's working, what's not and where improvements can be made
• Develop and implement better processes and standardized procedures across locations
• Lead process improvement and operational excellence initiatives
• Manage projects involving multiple departments and locations
• Develop KPIs and use data to measure results and identify opportunities
• Work closely with leadership and operational teams to turn ideas into action
• Help plan for future growth, including staffing, technology and operational needs
• Provide leadership with recommendations, progress updates and results

What We're Looking For

• 5-7+ years of experience in operations, process improvement, business transformation, project management or a similar role
• Experience working across multiple locations or departments
• Strong process improvement experience - Lean, Kaizen or Six Sigma knowledge is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Someone who can look at a complicated process, simplify it and create a better way of doing things
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with everyone from operational teams to executive leadership
• Experience in logistics, transportation, fleet, equipment, dealerships or a similar environment is helpful, but not required
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience
