Job summary

Abode Money, by Abode Financial Holdings, Inc., seeks an operations leader to own cross‑team workflows between partners, Ops and Engineering. You will scope, launch, and measure scalable processes across counties, markets, or new product lines, driving end-to-end improvements from day one.

You will work in Austin, predominantly in person, collaborating with leadership to decide what to build next and ensuring rapid iteration with data-backed decisions.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in operations, strategy, consulting, partnerships or business operations.
• Have researched, scoped, launched and iterated on a project end to end, with measurable results.
• Experience working closely with engineering to build tools or managing external partners.
• Comfort with data: spreadsheets and dashboards; SQL is a plus.
• Daily use of AI to accelerate specs, QA and reporting.

The Role

You'll own the work that sits between our partners, our Ops team and our Engineering team, and turn it into systems that scale. We file appeals across thousands of counties, each with its own rules, deadlines and evidence standards, and every county quirk and partner request needs someone to scope it, build it, launch it and measure it.

Your portfolio will change as the business grows. It could include multi-property and affiliate partners, the filing queues and CMA tools Ops uses every day, or a new state or product line like insurance or mortgage. You'll own real decisions from day one, work directly with leadership on what we build next, and grow fast if you do it well.

What You'll Do

• Scope the Work: Turn messy problems from Ops, CX, Growth or a partner into clear requirements, edge cases and acceptance criteria that Engineering can build against, and recommend what to do next.

• Test Before You Scale: Design small tests for new channels, markets and tools, set success metrics up front, and decide whether to scale, change or stop.

• Own Workstreams End to End: Take a partner, a market or an internal tool from research to launch to results, coordinating Ops, Growth, CX and Engineering without authority over any of them.

• Manage Partners: Run check-ins, coordinate launches and keep communication clear as the main point of contact for the partners you own.

• Launch, Measure and Iterate: Break everything before it ships, track filing rate, accuracy, conversion and referrals after launch, and write the docs and SOPs that turn what you learn into the next version.

Who You Are

• In Austin or willing to relocate. We work in person 4 days a week.

• 3 to 5 years in operations, strategy, consulting, partnerships or business operations, ideally at a startup or high-growth company

• Have researched, scoped, launched and iterated on a project end to end, with results you can point to

• Have worked closely with engineering to build things or managed external partners, ideally both

• Reach for the data before the opinion and are comfortable in spreadsheets and dashboards, with SQL as a plus

• Use AI daily to move faster on specs, QA and reporting, and to build your own tools when Engineering's queue is full

Compensation

$110,000 - $140,000 base, plus equity
