Job summary

Abode is hiring a Software Engineer in Austin to own the core systems behind property tax, insurance, and mortgage end to end, from architecture to production reliability. You will design scalable workflows, turn county rules and edge cases into clean engineering, and make tradeoffs between speed and reliability while collaborating with product, design, and operations to deliver great user experiences.

The Role

We're hiring a Software Engineer who is autonomous, reliable, and calm under pressure: the person people trust with the hard problems.

You'll own the core systems behind property tax, insurance, and mortgage end to end, from architecture to production reliability, working directly with the founders.

Compensation

$170,000 - $220,000 base, plus equity
