Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager in Jacksonville, FL to lead a team of salaried and hourly staff, focusing on safety, quality, attendance and performance. You will provide tools and coaching for success and drive productivity improvements through data-driven decisions.

You will oversee end-to-end operations across first, middle, and last mile, collaborating with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and HR to meet business objectives while delivering on customer delivery promises.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews, determining productivity requirements, and partnering with other Leaders to load balance.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
